▎エッセンシャルオイル紹介
リツェアクベバは、中国、インド、マレーシア、そして台湾を原産地とし、山倉子、山蒼子、山胡椒、メイチャンとも呼ばれています。台湾の先住民族の間では「馬告（マカオ）」と呼ばれ、棲蘭山エリアの重要な樹種です。その名前には「バイタリティに溢れ、命が絶え間なく続く」という意味が込められています。長い葉と黄色い花が特徴で、力強い胡椒と生姜のような香りを持ち、多くの先住民族の伝統料理に使われるスパイスでもあります。
リツェアクベバ精油は果実から抽出されます。その果実はブラックペッパーのような形をしています。香りはレモングラスに似ていますが、より柑橘系の爽やかさが際立ち、化学成分がメリッサ（レモンバーム）精油と似ていることから、リツェアクベバ精油は「リーズナブルなメリッサ」と呼ばれることもあります。
▎成分解析
｜主要成分：モノテルペンアルデヒド類
主成分はシトラール（約70%）で、その他にリモネン、エステル類、モノテルペンアルコール類などを含みます。そのため、香りはレモングラス精油と似ていますが、他のレモン系の香りがする精油に比べると、リツェアクベバ精油はややワイルドで力強い印象を与えます。
