▎エッセンシャルオイル紹介

厳選されたマダガスカル東部の熱帯雨林に由来し、地球の生態系における「輝く宝石」とも称されます。独特な地理条件を持ち、島内は地域ごとに気候差が大きく、低緯度で一年中高温多雨の東部熱帯雨林気候がラヴィンツァラにとって理想的な生育環境を提供しています。

強い日差しを多く受けて育つため、ラヴィンツァラの葉には豊富な有用成分が凝縮されています。その優れた働きから人々の健康を支える植物として知られ、マダガスカルの国樹とも称されています。現地の大統領府の内外にも、樹齢200年以上のラヴィンツァラの木が数多く植えられています。

▎成分解析

｜主成分：酸化物

主成分はシネオール（粘液を緩和する作用）、α-Terpineol（テルピネオール）であり、さらに微量成分としてα-ピネン、サビネン、リモネンなどが含まれています。

▸ ラヴィンツァラにはフェニルプロパノイド、リグナン、フラボノイド、クマリン、テルペン類などの成分が含まれており、in vitro試験において炎症に関する研究が報告されています。

｜成分1：1,8-シネオール (1,8 cineole)

▸ 化学特性：最大62.6%にも及ぶ酸化物（1,8-シネオール）を含有しており、ラヴィンツァラ精油は呼吸器系のコンディショニングに優れています。爽やかで上向きな香りは気分を高めると同時に、外的環境に対する抵抗力をサポートします。

▸ あるin vitro研究では、1,8-シネオールが単核白血球を刺激し、ロイコトリエンLTA4およびプロスタグランジンPGE2の生成を調節することが示されています。これらはいずれもアラキドン酸（AA）代謝経路に関与しており、1,8-cineoleは気管支の不調に適していると考えられます。

｜成分2：テルピネオール (α-Terpineol)

テルピネオール（別名：松油醇）はライラック様の香りを持つ代表的な化合物で、α-TやT-4-olなどが含まれ、人間・動物・植物に対して幅広い生理作用を示します。

▎エッセンシャルオイル紹介

ティーツリー（Tea Tree）はフトモモ科（Myrtaceae）メラレウカ属の多年生常緑高木であり、熱帯から亜熱帯地域の沿岸湿地帯に生育します。樹形は直立した円錐形で、羽のような細長い葉を持ち、線形の葉が互生します。若葉は黄緑色で、成熟すると鮮やかな緑色へと変化し、頂生花序は白いボトルブラシ状で、黄色または紫色の花を咲かせます。樹高は約3〜7メートルで成長が早く、最初にオーストラリアで発見されたことから「オーストラリアン・ティーツリー」とも呼ばれています。

直訳ではTea Tree（ティーツリー／茶樹）と呼ばれますが、紅茶やその他の茶とは関係ありません。この名前の由来は発見地にあります。周囲をティーツリーに囲まれた湖があり、その成分が湖水に溶け出したことで濃い紅茶色になったと伝えられ、現地の人々は周囲に生育する樹木を「Tea Tree」と呼ぶようになりました。また先住民の女性は、出産前後や婦人科系の不調がある際に、その紅茶色の湖水に浸かり自己療癒を行っていたとされ、古くから女性をケアする植物としても伝えられています。

ティーツリーは集中力を高め、良好なコミュニケーション能力を促し、環境への適応を助け、仕事による疲労を和らげる作用があるとされています。

▎成分解析

｜主成分：モノテルペンアルコール類

ティーツリー精油の代表的な成分はテルピネン-4-オール（Terpinen-4-ol）です。また少量の酸化物である1,8-シネオール（1,8-cineole）を含み、すっきりとしたリフレッシュ感をもたらします。さらに微量のα-ピネン（α-pinene）は粘膜保護作用や静脈強化作用を持つとされています。

▎エッセンシャルオイル紹介

厳選された産地は、パラグアイの肥沃な土壌を持つエルナンダリアス地域です。エルナンダリアス(Hernandarias)は亜熱帯気候に属し、年間気温は0〜35℃、日照時間が長く、土壌は柔らかく湿り気を帯びています。原生態系の自然資源が、現地の植物にとって極めて良好な生育環境を提供しています。プチグレンの原料となるビターオレンジの木は、その中でも特に活発で際立つ存在です。

この産地では9か月ごとにビターオレンジの木を剪定し、最良の葉枝を維持しています。この工程は原始的でありながら高い技術を要します。ビターオレンジの栽培は当地で100年以上の歴史を持ちます。私たちは産地と長期的かつ持続可能なグリーンパートナーシップを築き、高品質で香りの優れた精油の安定供給を実現しています。

▎成分解析

｜主要成分：エステル類

主な成分はLinalyl acetate（酢酸リナリル）、Linalool（リナロール）、リモネン、Terpineol（テルピネオール）、Nerol（ネロール）で、その他にβ-ピネン、酢酸ネリル、β-オシメン、β-ミルセンなど多様な微量成分を含みます。

プチグレンは真正ラベンダーと化学的特性が非常に近く、高い割合の酢酸リナリルと一定量のリナロールを含みます。この組み合わせにより優れたリラックス・安眠効果が期待できます。また、プチグレンに含まれる微量の含窒素化合物「Methyl anthranilate（メチルアントラニレート）」は、深いリラクゼーションを促し、愛に包まれているような安心感をもたらします。

▸ 精油に含まれる一般的な化学構造は、神経刺激作用との関連研究が行われています。

｜成分1：酢酸リナリル（Linalyl acetate）

▸ プチグレン精油は交感神経への影響は比較的穏やかで、副交感神経の働きをより速やかに、かつ顕著に活性化します。その相互作用により、自律神経全体のバランスは約5分以内に明確な変化を示すとされています。

▎エッセンシャルオイル紹介

ユーカリ・ラディアータ（Eucalyptus radiata）は、ユーカリまたは通称「孤独の木」とも呼ばれ、オーストラリアを代表する樹木の一つです。一般的には常緑高木で、高さは最大30mに達し、全体の樹形はピラミッド状になります。樹皮は灰色で繊維状、葉は比較的薄く、互生で有柄、全縁で羽状脈を持ち、多くは鎌状の形をしています。枝・葉・花はいずれも芳香を持ち、早春には白・赤・黄の花を咲かせ、多くは散形花序または頭状花序となります。同属のユーカリはオーストラリアの多様な地理・気候に適応しており、オーストラリア全土に広く分布しています。

成長が非常に早く、水分の必要量も多い樹木です。ユーカリは経済的価値と栽培の生存率が高いため、オーストラリア東部には30〜50種のユーカリが存在し、オーストラリアを代表する樹種となっています。またコアラの主要な食料でもあり、ユーカリを見るとコアラが抱いて食べている姿を自然と思い浮かべます。

ユーカリ樹が持つ揮発性の芳香油は、多くの虫が嫌う香りであり、酸素含有率の高い精油です。空気の浄化や呼吸器系のクレンジングに対して非常に優れた効果があります。

▎成分解析

｜主成分：酸化物

オーストラリアン・ユーカリには高割合の酸化物（1,8-シネオール）が含まれ、さらにモノテルペンアルコール、モノテルペン、モノテルペンケトンなどの分子構造も含まれています。これらの相乗作用により一定の医療的価値があり、α-ピネン、リモネン、α-テルピネオール、シス-ペリリルアルコール、ゲラニオールなどが含まれます。

｜成分1：1.8-シネオール (1,8 cineole)

ユーカリは高含有量の1,8-シネオールを含み、商業的には製薬および化粧品産業における精油生産に用いられています。またパルプ、合板、無垢材の生産のためにも広く栽培されており、その葉の芳香油は驚くほど広範な生物活性を示します。

▸ 研究により1,8-シネオールには抗炎症作用が確認されており、上気道および下気道疾患において去痰（粘液溶解）剤として使用することができます。

｜成分2：テルピネン-4-オール（Terpinen-4-ol）

テルピネン-4-オールは長期間放置すると酸化してカルバクロールに変化し、皮膚刺激性を持つため特に注意が必要です。

▎エッセンシャルオイル紹介

ニアウリ（Niaouli）は五脈白千層（Melaleuca quinquenervia）とも呼ばれ、原産はインドネシアおよびニューカレドニア（フランス領）です。ニアウリ精油は無色の液体で、強く芳香のあるカンファー系の香りを持ち、ユーカリに似た香調ですが、ユーカリよりもフランスではニアウリが好まれています。

ニアウリはオーストラリアで広く自生し、ティーツリーと同じくフトモモ科メラレウカ属に分類されます。生育環境が良ければ20〜30mにもなる常緑高木で、葉の長さは約7cm、樹皮はピンク色を帯びています。ニアウリには多くのCT（ケモタイプ）が存在するため、精油成分は大きく異なる場合があり、ユーカリオール型やネロリドール型などの化学的タイプに分類されます。本質は穏やかで刺激が少なく、天然の空気清浄機ともいわれています。

▎成分解析

｜主成分：オキシド類

典型的なニアウリ精油の成分には、1,8-シネオール（1,8 cineole）、ビリジフロロール（Viridiflorol）、ネロリドール（Nerolidol）、および左旋リナロール（(R)(-)-Linalool）が含まれます。その他、α-ピネン、リモネン、p-シメンなどの微量成分も含まれます。
